Jet Airways Cards

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

Jet Airways have tied up with Citibank to offer you the best service in the credit card industry. These are cobraned credit cards introduced by the mega bank offering you good discounts on air tickets and other things.

A closer look to the reward program is very interesting. You earn 4 Jet airways miles for ever 100 rupees spent on the card. With these miles you can purchase free air tickets to any destination of your choice.

So you just have to spend enough money and collect the suitable amount of JP miles which will enable you to discounts and even free airtickets from the airlines.

we are not sure if these are valid on international flights, but it is well worth it even if its for intra-country flights.

When you travel with kids or grandparents or for that matter elderly people you have to be careful in planning everything to the minutest details. For example we did our Berlin hostels group booking 5 weeks in advance even though we had to pay a little bit extra for it.

Some tips what you could follow on your long trips -

1. If you are going by air or train, don’t forget those air pillows which will save you from a stiff neck.

2. A travel guide to the place you are visiting is a must along with a map.

3. Calling card if you are travelling abroad is a boon and will save you a lot of cash.

Christmas eve in Goa

Monday, December 24th, 2007

Well, going to spend my Christmas eve in Goa as well as New years eve. It is going to be great. Really looking forward to a super vacation with all my friends and a few cousins as well.

We have taken the plan early since there are absolutely no Goa late deals available anywhere. Looking forward to visiting Copa Cabana and the beaches there.

Everyone is also thinking of extending this vacation, but some of us have to report back to work on the 3rd… so that wont be possible for us.

India - Telecom

Sunday, December 23rd, 2007

Me and some of my friends came back from a long vacation this week. We had taken a nice long trip to India and Sri Lanka. The places we visited were very beautiful and a must visit for avid travellers and hikers.

India is just too hot to handle in every sense. The weahter and even some tourist places are just great. Mumbai is definitely the place to be if you are in India. Happening crowd and the city is buzzing all the time. One thing we noticed there is great cell phones and that too at rock bottom prices. One of my friends works for a cell phone company and working at a couple of cell tower locations so is very familiar with doing cell phone reviews and he said these are probably the lowest prices in the world.

Now, you know where to go to buy your next cell phone. Any excuse to come to India again for me will do! Happy hiking till then!
